Attendance History tab

The Attendance History tab will give class attendance statistics just for this class. The columns on this tab will show you:

Attended (this term)

This column displays the number of times a student attended this class over the total number of times the class was held – for the date range of the current timetable term.

Please remember that a timetable term is most likely not the same as a school term.

For example, if a school has very little change to its timetable over the course of a year they might use the same timetable from January to December. This means their timetable term is a full calendar year.

Another school may have a major change to its timetable half way through the year. To accommodate this they create a second timetable term in July. This means their timetable term is about 6 months.

% Attended (this term)

This column gives the same information as above, but expressed as a percentage.

Partial Absence (this term)

This column displays the number of times a student was late to class or left early. When calculating the number of times a student attended a class, late arrival and early leave are counted as ‘attended’.

Total Events (this term)

This column shows the number of times a student missed a particular class due to being on an event.

Attended (this year)

This column displays the number of times a student attended a particular class over the total number of times the class was held – for the whole calendar year.

% Attended (this year)

This column displays the same information as above, but expressed as a percentage.
