Occasionally, you may wish to export a task, edit your marks and then import the marks back into iWise. You may wish to do this if your internet connection is unreliable for example.
In order to import the marks back into iWise, you need to use the action ‘Export > For import’.
1. | Search for the subject you wish to work with, and make sure your date range is wide enough to include all the tasks you wish to export. |
2. | From the Actions area, select Export > For import. |
4. | All the tasks within the current date range will be exported to Excel. Depending on the browser you are using, the file will either automatically open or you will see a popup asking you what you want to do with the file. Click OK to open it in Excel. |
5. | Save the file to your computer. You can then edit it as required, ready for importing back into iWise |
To import the file back into iWise, it needs to be saved as an Excel 97 – 2004 workbook. (A .xls file, not a .xlsx file)
