|
If using period absence marking, enter the number of full period absences required in order to make the whole day absent. The default is for all periods to be marked absent in order to create a whole day absence record.

|
Enable this option if you want to allow period based absence marking.
|
absence_period_mark_p1_auto
|
Enable this option if you want a student’s attendance status the first time their roll is marked to be the default status for the rest of the day.
With this setting turned on, students who are absent the first time their roll is marked will have whole day absence records created.

absence_sms_parents_Abs
|
This setting allows you to manage the text in the SMS sent to parents of absent students.
See also SMS_MAX_LENGTH, which will determine the maximum length of the SMS message.

Absence_sms_parents_late
|
This setting allows you to manage the text in the SMS sent to parents of late students.
See also SMS_MAX_LENGTH, which will determine the maximum length of the SMS message.

absence_swipe_leave_switch
|
Use this setting to specify the time at which the swipe screen will create early leave records rather than late records upon swipe.
If a student hasn’t swiped already today, if they swipe before this time a late record will be created. If they swipe after this time an early leave record will be created.

absence_swipe_print_slip
|
This setting controls whether or not a late note or early leave pass is printed when a student swipes in late or swipes for early leave.
|
absence_swipe_show_save_button
|
This setting controls whether or not the ‘Save’ and ‘Cancel’ buttons show on the early leave swipe screen.
If you are using the swipe station at a location where you don’t have a mouse, or if you don’t want the option to block an early leave have this setting turned off.
If you want to decide whether a student can leave or not, based on any current or future classes or events, have this setting turned on.

absence_swipE_start
|
This setting is used to specify a start time to be used if a student doesn’t have a timetable. This should be set to your normal school start time.
|
absences_auto_create_each_day
|
If this setting is turned on, absence records for all students will be created at 5am each morning.
If you want absence records to be created for only some school years, add a filter in the Value field.

absences_auto_create_type
|
This setting is used to specify the absence type used when creating automatic absence records (For example, ‘Unexplained Absence’ or ‘Roll not marked’.)

leave_filter_authorised_by
|
The ‘Authorised by’ field used when creating leave records will be limited to users with ‘Leave Admin’ group if this option is set to ON.
|
swipe_roll_refresh_time
|
This setting controls the number of seconds specified between a swipe and the screen resetting itself. The default is 10 seconds.

swipe_roll_swipe_text
|
The text to display on the swipe screen when in resting state.
|
swipe_roll_valid_years
|
A semi-colon separated list of valid years for the student absence by roll swipe screen.
