Calendar and Events Management |
The calendar and events area of iWise is used to record all the activities that are going on at your school. These activities may be excursions, meetings, appointments or fund raising events and may involve the whole school, a small group of people or even one individual. Events can go for 10 minutes, a whole day, or even a week. You can also set up recurring events. Events are displayed on calendars, and the calendars are tailored to be relevant to the person logged onto iWise. This means that what you see on your calendar may be different to what someone else sees on his or hers. And events are not the only items that are displayed on calendars – other items include timetables, teacher covers, absences, sickbay admittance and even Markbook tasks.
There are two main ways of looking at calendars in iWise:
Home | Timetables | All will allow you to look at individual teacher, student or room calendars and see everything that is going on for that individual; and
Calendar | Events | List is the master list of events, and allows you too see and manage everything that is going on at your school. |
