Current location and period attendance display

      

When you click on a student’s row in the main grid, details about that student’s current location and attendance to each period are loaded in the bottom right of screen.

The student’s current location shows above the period grid.

Only periods which have been flagged for period marking (either optional or required) will show in this area.

If you hover over a period you will be able to see more details.

 

The periods in this area will be coloured in one of 6 ways:

Green – the student attended the full period.

Light Grey – the student had no class this period. (Had a free, or the class was cancelled)

Purple – the student was partially absent in this period.

This could be because they were late, left early, attended an event or were in sick bay. If you hover over the period you will be able to see the time they arrived and/or the time they left.

Grey – the period is in the future.

Red – the student was absent for the full period.

This could be because they are absent from school or because they were attending an event or were in sickbay. If you hover over the period you will be able to see the reason for the absence.

Grey Red – the period is in the past but the roll was not marked.
