Setting the comment limit

Comments can be restricted on reports by specifying a character count, either globally or on a subject by subject basis. Through the relevant setting, iWise also allows you to specify whether a character count is enforced or whether you only want to provide a warning to users that they have reached the limit.

Setting a comment limit is useful to ensure that all comments fit on a printed report. If Civica are creating the printed report for your school you can either provide us with the comment limit you would like to incorporate on the report or we can recommend a limit based on space available.
