ACADEMIC_AUTO_CORRECT_COMMENTS
|
This setting enables those proofing rules to be automatically corrected as a teacher types and saves. If you are using the iWise proofing function it is recommended that this setting be turned on.

ACADEMIC_CHAR_LIMIT
|
Set the maximum number of characters allowable in a report comment.
This is usually done in conjunction with the set up of your academic reports as the character limit is usually based on how much space is allocated to comments on the print out.
This setting specifies a number of characters and provides a warning that the limit is exceeded. It does not force the limit. (See below for the setting that does this.)

ACADEMIC_INDICATOR_GRP_HEADING
|
This allows you to change the group headings for performance indicators/profiles on the full page student academic report entry screen in the Academic module. Note: This setting affects the screen only, not the printed report.

ACADEMIC_LOCK_S1
|
Lock Slot 1 academic records to prevent modification by academic staff. Individual subjects and fields can be locked on Academic | Admin | Show Fields.

ACADEMIC_LOCK_S2
|
Lock Slot 2 academic records to prevent modification by academic staff. Individual subjects and fields can be locked on Academic | Admin | Show Fields.

ACADEMIC_OUTCOME_GRP_HEADING
|
This allows you to change the group headings for outcomes on the full page student academic report entry screen in the Academic module. Note: This setting affects this screen only, not the printed report.

ACADEMIC_PROOF_NO_RETURNS
|
Set this option on if you want the proofing mechanism in iWise to strip out return characters in comments.

ACADEMIC_RESTRICT_COMMENTS
|
This option allows a school to prevent users from typing more than the specified number of words or characters. It works in conjunction with ACADEMIC_CHAR_LIMIT and ACADEMIC_WORD_LIMIT

ACADEMIC_SHOW_PASTORAL_GRAPH
|
Turn this option on if you want to display a graph of student results in the academic pastoral carer entry screens. Sometimes, especially if you are experiencing slow loading times, it can be useful to turn this option off.

ACADEMIC_WORD_LIMIT
|
This setting is similar to ACADEMIC_CHAR_LIMIT but sets the maximum number of words, not characters. It does not prevent users from exceeding the limit, it just warns them
|
COMMENT_BANK
|
Allow staff to use iWise comment bank.
|
ACADEMIC_SEMESTER1_LABEL
ACADEMIC_SEMESTER2_LABEL
|
Change the label on screen from 'Semester 1' to something more meaningful for your school - eg 'Interim reports'.
